Since its foundation, Sejong Brewery has brewed Korean traditional liquors such as Makgeolli, Yakju, and Distilled Soju through traditional methods and continuously struggled to modernize them.
Sejong Brewery, based on the strict management, will become a company leading the drinking culture with exclusive product strategy, constant quality improvement and scientific production management.
The goal of Sejong Brewery is to make traditional liquors compete with the world s finest liquors and let people throughout the world enjoy the taste and culture of Korean alcoholic beverages.

2024.11 – Received the Presidential Award at the Korean Traditional Liquor Awards (Ido 42)
2021.08 – Selected as an Excellent Cultural Product in the food sector (Ido 32)
2020.06 – Selected as TOP10 at the Rice Processed Products Fair (Udo Peanut Traditional Liquor)
2019.11 – Won the Excellence Award in the Yak/Cheongju category at the Korean Traditional Liquor Awards (Organic Ido 14)
2017.05 – Selected as TOP10 at the Rice Processed Products Fair (Ido 42)
2016.12 – Won the Grand Prize in the distilled liquor category at the Korean Traditional Liquor Awards
2015.07 – Selected as a “Visiting Brewery” by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs
2015.03 – Acquired Main-Biz certification (Management Innovation SME)
2015.01 – Selected as a Promising SME in Cheongju City
2014.09 – Selected as an Excellent SME by Chungbuk Regional Office of SMEs and Startups
2013.10 – Acquired Organic Processed Food Certification
2012.11 – Renamed to JoeunSul Sejong Co., Ltd. (Agricultural Corporation)
2007.12 – Converted to Cheongju Brewing Sejong Co., Ltd. (Agricultural Corporation)
1997.08 – Established Osong Trading, a traditional liquor distribution company
