Company introduction

With 11 years of experience, Go Surok Food Co., Ltd. is a leader in the traditional Korean rice cake industry.
After establishing a strong domestic presence through partners including large home shopping channels and Atomy, we transitioned to a global-first strategy in 2023 and have aggressively pursued international certifications, global exhibitions, and export consulting programs.
These efforts have yielded significant results, including a strategic OEM partnership with Haitai USA exclusively for rice cake products. In 2025, we successfully expanded into Taiwan and Malaysia through offline promotional events. Currently exporting to over five countries—including the U.S., Canada, Australia, Taiwan, and Malaysia—we have also secured Halal and Kosher certifications in 2026 to penetrate high-potential markets like Indonesia and Israel where religion plays a key role in food culture.
Operating under HACCP and ISO 22000 standards, we utilize rapid-freezing technology and automated production lines to deliver large-scale, price-competitive solutions without compromising on quality.

History

September 2014: Established Go Surok Food Co., Ltd. as a legal corporate entity.
April 2015: Completed construction of the food manufacturing plant.
October 2015: Signed a vendor contract with Galleria Department Store.
April 2016: Obtained HACCP certification.
September 2016: Lunched products via Home & Shopping, GS Shopping, and NS Shopping.
February 2019: Began rice cake supply to ROK Army Unit No. 3170.
July 2019: Established an advanced rapid-freezing system.
October 2019: Expanded home shopping channels to Gongyoung Shopping, Home & Shopping, and K Shopping.
April 2020: Launched on major retail platforms including Lotte Shopping, GS SHOP, and Hyundai Mall.
2021: Initiated exports to global markets, including the United States, Australia, and Canada.
2024: Completed FDA (U.S.) and GACC (China) registrations.
2025: Expanded export footprint into new markets, including Malaysia and Taiwan; Obtained multiple international certifications including ISO 22000, Kosher, and Halal; Received numerous commendations and awards from provincial governments, local authorities, and the National Assembly.
